Last year I reluctantly put a deerelight P-60 in my Surefire . It has been a super upgrade. I just ordered a C2H to replace my P2D because it actually works with RCR'. Then there is the DBS which is unmatched in throwpower. Started thinking that Deerelight might be on top of the flashlight wars as far as performance, quality, and value goes.

What are the opinions of Deerelight on this forum?

I agree, I own all Dereelight 3 models.

Dereelights are definitely NOT consumer flashlights, given their tendency towards 18650 batteries.
Their modularity is second to none, which can make their product line confusing, but it gives us 'flashlight-nerds' a huge number of options.

I really like their willingness to drive the LED very hard for maximum output. Fenix used to float around the 700-800ma mark if I remember correctly, where Dereelight is really pushing the LED's (1.2A) and also using the latest bin (R2).

Subjectively I also prefer their multimode UI to say, Fenix (multi-useless-mode) or SF (1 or 2-speed, or for the thick of wallet up to a U2, with lots of gears)

Their UI is what sold me on them, simple and effective. I hated needing two hands for turbo on my P2D.

How is their long term durability? Fenix was very good in that regard.
