No, it's one of the more difficult versions. It took me forever to get it running on my laptop - and I had to use dial-up! I messed it up a couple of times, too. Then, after playing with it for a while, I deleted it and went back to RedHat 9.0.
I don't think they're going to make a GUI installer for it. They want to keep it as small and lean as possible, so you only get the things you need, not a bunch of extra stuff like the other distributions.
I did learn a lot about Linux when I was installing it.
