Trying to source some cree XR-E R2's in the UK. This is the highest output one i have found but im not sure if it is an R2 or Q5.

http://uk.rs-online.com/web/search/searchBrowseAction.html?method=getProduct&R=0517971&cm_vc=prev_uk

I know if the last numbers (ie 00E01) are 00D01 then that is a Q5, not sure about this 00E01 though. Please help or if anybody in the UK knows where to source XR-E's except RS and Farnell please let me know.

Crees binning sheets dont even list an R2? outdated?

Many thanks.

Should be an R2, based on it being listed as a min flux of 114lm (at 350mA). Not sure why the R2 bin isn't in the XR-E datasheet, but the datasheet shows the Q5 bin as being a min flux of 107lm. Each bin is 7% higher than the previous, and R2 is one bin higher than Q5. 1.07 x 107lm= about 114lm, therefore R2.

Yeh that was the impression i got too about the Q5 min flux being 107lm and this one suggested is 114lm. Its the most expensive one too so hopefully is actualy an R2.
I will see if they have the slightest inkling about cree led's when i pop to their trade counter.
Thanks.
p.s. If anyone knows of a chart with the R2 codes listed please let me know.
