ITP A3 EOS and Maratac AAA beamshots comparison
This beamshot was done to compare the ITP/Maratac light to some other AAA lights, it is part of my Danish review.
I have select all 3 ITP/Maratac models and some other common AAA flashlights, both a cheap one (E01) and some powerful lights. The lights are (Same sequence as picture): ITP 1 level, ITP 3 level, Maratac, Fenix E01, Fenix LD01, LumaPower Avenger GX, Leatherman S2, LiteFlux LF2XT.
All light (except ITP/Maratac) is described in A look at AAA flashlights, and has beamshots in Beamshots from AAA flashlights
First at look at the maximum amount of light each flashlight is capable off. ITP/Maratac is about the same level as LD01, but cannot match LF2XT on LiIon. Use of LiIon in ITP/Maratac/LD01 would increase their output, but the lights are not specified for LiIon use.
Next I have collected all the brightness settings in the same graph, this shows that ITP/Maratac has a very wide range from low to high, much wider than LD01, GX is close to the same range and LF2XT has an even larger range.
The last graph shows brightness, measured at 1 meter. The brightness matches the amount of lights, i.e. the optical system on the different lights is not that different in how they focus the lights.

The world's most advanced AAA lights, it is possible to select between floating adjust or a number of fixed levels. Some other settings can also be programmed, including a lot of flashing modes. The first picture shows the standard LF2XT, the second picture is a LF2XT with a custom titanium body.
