Japanese Researchers Double Green Phosphorescent OLED Efficiency

I have been very interested in which LED technology would gain ultimate dominance. This is a big boost for OLEDs.

Interesting.

The "total" efficiency isnt better than with usual leds, but they can use a BIG advantage: The ability to tune in on the most efficient region of the human vision.

This could have tremendous impact on the viability and power consumption of OLD displays. I'm excited for this technology to mature.
