javelin and solarforce R2 drop in problem

I recently bought a javelin and a Solarforce R2 drop in and have had the light flickering on and off sometimes. I was wondering if the contact points on the drop-in in the head may be the problem or loose batteries also? The Dereelight XPG R5 module that came with the light works great. Thanks for the replies.

I recently received 3 Javelins, two of them were finicky due to loose parts. Check inside the tail-cap to ensure the switch is tight, and that the pill is tight inside the reflector.
Just need to check the entire electrical path for solid connections. You may have already done this though, and have a different problem. Just thought I'd chime in in case it helps.
