Question for you modders. Is JB weld thermally conductive. I am looking at a mod where this would be iedal for the purpose of bonding, even better if it would help conductivity.

its electrically conductive (very little) so its not good around circuits. Even though it has metal in it- its not as good of a thermal conductor as arctic alumina

but if heat wasn't an issue and you needed to bond a maglite head on- jb is great

I've never measured the electrical conductivity of J-B Weld, but they say, "J-B Weld is not considered to be a conductor. It is an insulator."

After I read that, I used it for potting and gluing a circuit board and a Cree LED to an 1157 lamp socket and it doesn't seem to short circuit anything. Being solid, it probably conducts heat better than air...but it doesn't seem to be the first choice for potting material.
