Anybody know where to get directions ie operating instructions on how to program this badboy?

Are you really talking about a MKIIX ? If yes, It's not programable...

If you mean moving thru the UI, it's pretty simple. When in general mode, break the circuit in low for a few seconds and you're in advance mode. To get back to general from advance you have to go to at least the 80% or higher setting and hold off for a few seconds.
Go to DX to get a definition of the modes.
