Jetbeam that can use 1xCR123 or 1xAA or 1x18650?

The regulator in most Jetbeams is rated at 0.7v to 4.2v. That should allow for all of the batteries I listed in the title. The Jetbeam Jet-II Pro I.B.S. has a body designed to hold 1xCR123, and a positive-threaded headpiece like pretty much all of the newer Jetbeams use. This means I should be able to swap in a different body between the head and tail of the Jet-II Pro I.B.S., in case I ever need to use an AA battery, or want to use an 18650. But which one will fit? And can I even buy the body tubes separately?

Anyone ever done this before?

Hmm. BugoutGearUSA sells a Jet-II AA body, but it says it doesn't fit the Jet-II IBS. But does it fit the Jet-II Pro IBS?

Just to clarify...

The Jet-II AA tubes only fit the 1st edition of the Jet-II series (not the Jet-II Pro). All other editions use different threading so these tubes will not fit.

Is there an AA/18650 tube that does fit the Jet-II IBS or Jet-II Pro IBS? One from another Jetbeam flashlight, perhaps?

Dammit! All I want is a flashlight that will run on anything I stuff in the battery tube and look good doing it. Is that so much to ask?

You could try the Jet III Military/LEO. "The latest generation circuit is designed to maximize efficiency and a broad voltage range, which is compatible with CR123 batteries and rechargeable lithium batteries (including 18650 lithium batteries)". Copied directly from BugOutGear.

Yeah, but it can't run on AA's. That's what's so appealing about the Jet-II; it's circuitry is designed to handle alkalines or lithiums.

Figures they'd make it so you can't actually them, though.
