Fenix P3D Premium Q5. Can't wait for this sucker to get here. It's agonizing.

Congratulations! The P3D Q5 is one of my personal favorites. It's a great all purpose light in my opinion.

Re: Just bought a......

My first 'real' light was a P2D which I was very pleased with. I'm sure you'll enjoy the P3D. :)

I hope you like it!

Don't expect tooooo much though. It will be good but if you expect too much you can be disappointed. That will depend on the lights you currently own though. It's a good light nonetheless and I think you will like it.

The best thing i own would be a Coleman Max Cree XR-E 2AA. This is my first REAL flashlight.

Same here, the power pack with the L2D body included.

The P3D is a great light and I have thought about getting one also.

Waiting is hard. The UPS guy just showed up with the last of the presents and brought a couple of Olight Infinitum's with the rest of the stuff.

It's almost dark now.

Happy Holidays and great choice.

Fenix Flashlights

I got my Fenix P3D Premium Q5 in the mail today after an agonizing 4 day wait... I guess I'm a flashaholic. This is my first really good flashlight and I must say I'm impressed, it's VERY bright. I was looking on Amazon today and saw the old L2P. Is it worth getting for $22.99?

Re: Fenix Flashlights

I'm not sure. It's a good light and also uses AA batteries bit uses a previous gen LED.

If you don't mind the lower output, then you can go for it if you want to. You can swap in a current gen LED for more output.

L2P review

I ordered a PD30 a few days ago and still haven't gotten it. I was just wondering if anyone knows how different it will be from a P3D other than the different body.

Imo getting any older version Fenixes are a waste of money, you may save few bucks but you get what you pay for: lower brightness, less efficient driver... If what you need is a cheaper alternative there are always other brands.
