KL1 & 2 X 18650's?

Will the Surefire KL1 run fine on 2 X 18650"s?

Anyone try it?

It's under the 9 volts that the KL1 can run at...:popcorn:

I have tried it in the past. No problem, as the KL1 is a buck/boost circuit and can handle up to 9 volts. Extra mAh's does not bother the KL1.

I was told only the early versions could handle 9V (but could be wrong)...

Only change to KL1 was when it was dropped as a product.
