If the new Surefire L5 has an estimated runtime for 5h with 2 CR123, how long would the runtime be with 6 CR123?

Well, I don´t know but I sure like the way it came out :D

And it works well...

..no more darkness..

Pretty neat looking. Did it screw right on or did you have to do some modification? I have a KL6 on my M6 body and it screwed right on but I wouldn't have thought the KL5 head would have. I believe it is made to fit the C and P series???????

Nice. He unscrewed the bottom portion of the KL5A head and the remaining portion screwed right onto the M6. I really REALLY like the M6 but no ....

I had some pics that I took, and I cant seem to find in photobucket anymore.

Anyway..It was pics of the KL3/KL5A/KL2 on the M6 body...interesting and weird.

Re: KL5a on M6 body....

Is this head sustainable with this much current or do the six cells fry something in there eventually?

What did you do to get your KL5 apart? Just curious in case I've missed trying anything. I even sent mine to milkyspit, and he couldn't get it apart. I've gouged up that lower section with channel locks, with the head locked in a padded vice after boiling it and heating it to the point of worrying about melting the innards with a heat gun.
One of these days, though...

I've had some SF heads come apart with nothing more than a twist by hand. Some of them just don't want to come apart at all:(

Hey Martin... do you plan on keeping that SF C-M adaptor from the KL5 head?

I prefer the turbohead on the M6 but, the lightsaber/sea cucumber look is kind of cool. I bet a 3 emitter modded KL2 head works great.
