I was just browsing tactical supply looking at their selection of Kromas' and I see that the Multi-Spectrum has lower output levels for the main beam. It has 50 lumens high/1.1 low while the other two versions are 60 high/15 low. Is that correct and not a typo? I'm still considering getting the Mil-Spec version cause that yellow green is just too cool  and the higher output levels. I'm planning on swapping the IR leds for white ones for a super long runtime low output light.

Can someone recommend the whitest 5mm leds around?

I'm also thinking of taking the IR leds and putting them in some other light just for kicks, like a Dorcy AAA or some other light that has 5mm leds. Suggestions would be appreciated!

Surefire is coming out with a YG/IR model (eight LEDs for each) late summer/early fall but with their track record it will probably end up being much later.
