Hello all,

I've been lurking here for almost 3 months now. Great info!!! I'm a LEO that works 3rd (night) shift and know the value of a good flashlight.

Now on to my reason for the post.

I have recently purchased a Fenix L2T V2.0 (CREE XR-E version) as my off-duty carry light. Love it!! I am looking for single cell body options for having a shorter/lighter light.

I have looked around on here quite a bit and read tons of posts, but I have not been able to find a definitive yes or no to the different options.

Can someone please tell me what single-cell bodies work with the L2T v2.0 head and tail switch?

Also can anyone confirm the voltage range for this light? I've only found a few postings on the web that state the range as 1.2v to 3.0v. I am interested in using some 14500's in my light, but I don't want to screw anything up. Fenix's site is less than helpful.

Thanks in advance,
RW

This should work along with the tail you already have.

Edit:as Hooked on Fenix says version 2.0 will not work with the L1T body, sorry I almost messed you up.

The L1D body tube will work. The P2D body tube will work as well but you need the P2D tailcap. Make sure you don't buy an old L1T body tube. The L1T version 2.0 is a little different and the old style body tube might not work.

Thanks for the correction Hooked on Fenix I didnt realize the v 2.0 was different. I will edit my post

Thanks for the reply...however; the print in the discription clearly states "DOES NOT FIT THE L1T v2 OR L2T v2".

As I posted, mine is the LT2 v2.0.

I have found on this forum that someone has taken a L1D CR123 and added the L2T head and tail switch, but in looking at Four Sevens site, it states "Only compatible with the L1D CE, L2D CE, and P2D heads."

This is the problem I am having. All the options that look like they make sense, are ruled out by the sellers.

Thanks,
RW

Hooked on Fenix, Thanks for the correction. I was typing my reply when you made the corrcetion and stated that the L1D will work. I checked a few sites (other than 4 7's) and found a few that confirmed your info.

Now can you tell me if the new L2T v2.0 head is Lithium v3.7 compatible like the L1D is?

I would assume that it would since it uses the same LED, but you what they say about guys that assume.

Thanks,
RW

The input voltage for the L1T v. 2.0 and L2T v. 2.0 is 1-4.2 volts so one lithium ion cell should work. Don't try two or you will fry your light. I haven't tried mine with a lithium ion cell but the advertised voltage range for these lights does suggest it will work. I have an L1T version 2.0 (actually a Leatherman LGX200-same thing). I have used the L1D, L2D, and P2D bodies with the light successfully. The L1D body is the same as the L1T body. The L2D body is the same as the L2T body. The P2D body gives the same 15 lumen low as the other setups and the L2T's high with a size smaller than the both of the other options. Remember that using the P2D body tube requires a P2D tailcap to work with the L2T v. 2.0 head. The P2D body tube won't work with the L1T tailcap.
