L4 candle mode

I'm trying to find a way to use my L4 in candle mode and
still have full function of its Z57 switch. Any thoughts
or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Look at the McLux 2x123 Power Pack and apply the Darrel mod on the kroll switch. You'll give up the Z57, but you will still have a clickie switch and it will sit on it bottom end.

I find the McLux power pack seems to dissipate the heat a little better too, although it is a bit larger overall [probably why it dissipates the heat better].
