Is the L4 available in black? I really want to give my dad a nice 5w flashlight, but he's really partial to black. Do they make 'em like this?

I've never seen an L4 in black. But I just found out that Vital Gear makes most of the FB series in an HA black color. Now if you get a black FB body and figure out how to make the L4 head in black then you'd have the right light for your dad.

After doing a search, I found that guy's who are wanting a L4-bk usually track down the head off the Scout Light, then couple that head with the body off a E2E-BK, or E2D; or even a black Aleph body.. :naughty:

I got a black KL4 from a Scout Light, and several more online. My source has dried up. The black KL4 is available, just hard to find. I don't have any more for sale. Put one on an E2D body, and another on an E1E-BK. Both have the Z68 tail cap.

PS: The latest version of the KL1 (TIR Optic) is also available in black. Again, they are hard to find. I don't have any more for sale. Also put one each, on an E2D and E1E-BK, but with Z61 tail caps. The Z61 makes it easy to differentiate between the KL1's and KL4's (with Z68's), since they are so similar in apperance.

Thanks guys. I might try give one of those Likki 5w lights a try and see if it's as bright as advertised.

I recently came across a Black KL4 (head only) at Supremeco in Hong Kong. I was told it was a standard item.
