A mildly flashaholic friend (I'm working on it!) wants to engrave some latin on a gift metal torch for another friend. I thought that:
enite aeternum
would work well. What do you all think? It sounds better than semper luce or whatever else, since it's also a bit of a play on words. For non-latin types semper=always, lucere=to shine, aeternum=eternally/forever and enitere=to shine, brighten up, be brilliant or distinguish oneself.
Any thoughts? BTW I don't want to feed the guy incorrect grammar so let me know if I've made a boo-boo.
