Nope, these are power leds, not to be confused with the small 3mm or 5mm leds. Oh, and these things become less efficient if you put more current through 'em. That's why znomit advices a truckload of high-efficiency (R5 is the best you can get now, although at a price), at low load. I personally would go for about 100-200 mA, where they are still efficient, and you need less leds. (XP-G doesn't drop that hard in efficiency when amps go up... under say 150 mA an olde XP-E might win)
Besides : what do you want to use em for? Should it be focussed? Compact?
SSTs have the same efficiency problem, so if you can, grab 2 SST-90s and go parallel ;) Whether that creates more problems than it solves, is up to you.
