LED headlights in 2009 Honda Insight Hybrid?

Looks like Honda will be using multiple slug LEDs for headlights in their 2009 Insight. They call the car the "prius killer." Wonder if they are using Cree, Luxeon, or something else??

from the views given it looks just like the Prius. More like a Prius Clone.

just an observation. and I don't even like the Prius.(give me a clean diesel with 50 real mpg any day).

Wow that does look a lot like a the Prius! Maybe the aerodynamics of the Prius is just that good?

it actually is a very very eficient design as far as aerodynamics is concerned.

although all the out-door people with their roof racks on Prius's crack me up. All the benefit of driving such a visiually challenged car is instantly wiped out from the racks. Same goes for the 90-mph left-lane Priuites.

It would be cool if they they did have LED main lights but remember that this is only a concept car and a lot of things may change before the production version is available. Just look at the Audi R8, the concept had LED main lights but the production model has HID.
