I just bought a Surefire M961 Tactical light. Surefire does not have (or at least they don't advertise) an LED lamp suitable for this 9v light.

Is anyone aware of an LED lamp that I can drop into this? Hate to let 9v's go to waste!

Thanks

If it takes a P90 LA you should be able to put a Malkoff M60 in there.
The M60 runs off 3.8-9v

If its like the shock absorbing M2 head you may need the spring ring

There is no readily available LED drop-in for the M961 weaponlight. The M961 uses the M3 bezel with MN10 & MN11 lamps.
Your options are pretty much limited to either buying a KT4 Turbohead and using an LED drop-in or having a KL2 or M3 head modded. I feel that the LED drop-in for the KT4 probably isn't sufficiant for a weaponlight as far as output goes.
If price isn't a factor and you want all out performance I suggest using a Modded KT4, KL2 or M3 head with multi-emitter set-up or a P7 or MC-E for max brightness from a single source.

To keep cost to a minimum, buy the 9-volt extender that excepts the C/P/D series heads and use a Malkoff M60. They are very bright and made extremely well.
