There are 6 blue festoon led bulbs behind each glass door.

That's a solid way to drive LEDs; using a dedicated driver that's specifically built for the purpose. Light-years better than commercial pucks or retrofits.

I've had good luck with odds and ends through BestHongKong as well. Faster shipping than DX.

Consider amber colored LEDs in the curio, but it's an aethestic thing.
