LED screens?

My brother just got back from Japan. He was at an electronics show and said all the booths, etc, were covered with LED screens. These were like screens made from mess that was covered in LED's, like that giant LED screen they unrolled during the China Olympics. Are these types of mesh LED screens making their way into the USA? For example if someone wanted to hang one up on a buliding, etc?

Saw Elton John recently & he had one behind him, didn't the Republican/Democratic conventions use them as well? They're incredible!

I haven't seen the mesh product in person, although I'm familiar with other LED products that are meant to behave like a living "curtain" hanging behind a performer on stage. Very cool and very expensive.
