I own a Walther CP99 CO2 powered air pistol and was wondering if i could attach an LED weapon light to it, using some sort of mount? If this is possible please could you suggest me a mount and an LED light for this. I am hoping that the light will use a Cree Q5 or R2.

I think a OLight M20 can be a good choice, you can get a good remote pressure switch an a good mount for it, size and throw is ok.

If it has a rail system like the newer (post 2004) Walther P99AS it should fit the Streamlight TLR-1. They come with a newer C4 LED that is similar, IIRC, to a Q4 or Q5.

Xak, the "C4 LED" is their blanket term for anything using TFFC technology; this can include Cree, SSC, or the new K2 TFFC LEDs. Or for that matter, high-bin Rebels. They wanted the flexibility to use whatever bin of whatever LED they could get in large quantities, at decent bin code, for a low price - without changing their marketing materials. That means incremental upgrades are being considered for some point in the future.

Since this is airsoft and not subject to recoil, I'd recommend the G&P P60-host weaponlight.
