LEDs in electric model railroad locomotives are much nicer IMO than small incandescent bulbs, but the LED's in locomotives vary wildly in tint. I've seen "white", "golden white" and "amber" and even green tinted ones to name a few.
I'm looking for someone who knows what the "golden white" leds used are and where they can be purchased. Specifically, 3mm leds for N scale.
Does anyone out there into model RR-ing know what gold tint LED that manufacturers like Kato and Atlas use?
