I've had this light for about 6 mos. Every time I pick it up I'm amazed by the incredible complexity of the programming capabilities. This light is probably the most advanced out there and all for $60. I wish my tint was warmer and maybe a little hotter hotspot. Other than that it is a cool light. Those that like options check this one out.

Werd!

I'm hoping that liteflux will make a 18650 version about the size of a L mini. I wouldn't mind something a bit bigger with larger capacity.

I have big pockets.

Sounds like you need a LF2XT, Bud. Warmer tint in a small light weight package. It's every bit as much fun as the LF3XT, which, I agree, is still one of the best.

Budman, I agree with you that the LF3XT still amazes me! After all, this light as revolutionary as it was to be the first light to offer 2 different user selectable interfaces in a light with a smooth perfect beam, has really not been superceded by the LF2XT in my book.
Although the LF2XT is smaller and offers the essentially the same interfaces, it can't compete with regard to runtime and brightness. The warmer tint on the LF2xt may please some prefering that, but tint preference is a matter of taste. While the LF2XT is attached to my keychain, the LF3XT is attached to my heart as my favorite light of all time! It is my main EDC light, while the LF2XT is my backup.

The LF3XT is my favorite 1x123 light. The compact UI is perfect for me, but I like the ability to have the more advanced options available as well.

I really hope LiteFlux continues on with this UI and adds an 18650 light (LF6XT?) as well as an updated LF5XT with the new UI. Heck, why not even go for a LF4XT (CR2)?

I'd have one of each, I can tell you that.

Yep !

I've had my LiteFlux LF5XT for a full year now,

and it is STILL my favorite flashlight !

Waiting for an updated model, with the Cree XP-G emitter, by Christmas.

A small as possible new LF5XT, resembling the 3XT, is next on my wish list. Pocket clip, too, please.
