Li Ion camera battery charger to charge RCR123s, etc?

Anyone ever mod a camera charger to do so? I have one lying around

Camera chargers are mostly like cellphone ones, i.e. dumb. They rely on the protection and other circuitry in the battery to regulate the charge. It would be very unsafe to use such a charger for a bare Li-Ion cell, and not good even for a protected one.

Another disadvantage is that these chargers are designed for charging low-capacity batteries, so they are low-output and would take a long time to charge (for example) 18650 cells.

My advice: don't try it.
