Li-ion PT EOS... Has anyone done it?

Hi,

I'm thinking of making a battery pack for my EOS because I have access to free 1200mAh li-ion flat cells which would fit perfectly into a rectangular case. The EOS takes three AAA which could be anywhere from 2.7v up to 4.5v, so i'm assuming a single li-ion cell or multiple li-ion cells in parallel would work fine.

Does anyone have any experience using li-ions with this headlamp?

There's a fair few threads!!! I didn't see any of them in the quick Google search and when just searching for text in the forum search it has an error. But with a username and text it works fine.
