Lidl NiMh Tronic Energy 950 Eco AAA (ready to use) charging settings MC-3000

I am trying to charge Lidl NiMh Tronic Energy 950 Eco AAA (ready to use) batteries in my MC-3000 but always get capacity cut off warning. I use predefined NiMh settings, capacity+20% (1200 mAh) and charging current 190 mA as noted on battery. Also tried to raise capacity to 1400 mAh but it is always the same. What am I doing wrong?

I would not use higher capacity than the battery is capable of. I don't use the phone GUI, you might try using the default AAA program the MC3000 comes with, and you can increase charge time in that program, although I can't imagine that you would need to.

AAA's can be dried out very easily if overcharged. Ask me how I know...

The charging current is too low at 190mA. This means that the charger cannot reliably detect the delta peak. I would set 0.4 or 0.5A.

First off your negative delta V is way too much for LSD NiMh batteries lower that to 3mV or less. Second your charge current is way too low for any delta V detection, rase that to .45V. Get rid of the trickle charge set it to off. Lastly set a safety timer, 240 should be good.

Those batteries are very similar to Eneloop pro AAA's. This is the program that I have used hundreds of times for Eneloop AAA's with very good results.
