Hi There,

I've used this forum from time to time, its been a great help in designing my lights. Also a big thanks to BIKELED.Org to for the inspiration and help in the past too.

I ended using the Copperhead as my design, although changed the size to give me more space to insert things, sprayed it matt black and nicknames it Johnie number 5!

I'll admit if you look close it does have that Touch of DIY to it, so I was thinking maybe johnie 5 needs a new look.....

So do any of you light builders out there know of any sites where you can buy machined case..... Or Should I contact a local metal works?

Thanks
Jimbo

The nicest ones I've seen are the hammond cases.
Huffypuffy from MTBR does a fantastic one.

Cheers dude

I did try using a enclosure like that before but ended up not liking the look. haha!

The Hammond enclosures are ok, but have smooth surfaces. These have cooling fins on three sides (smooth bottom :D ) integrated into the construction. They are quite long but easily cut to length and have enough material for multiple boxes.

Thank Whitedog for the heads up
I have been hanging on for some stuff back from the machine shop and anodizers before putting any pics up .

here is one for ready for the XPG leds 4 of the little cuties
and has a nice little helmet mount being anodized
