Lighthound has a LED replacement for the minimag. Its called Terra LUX Mini Star 2 Extreme. Rated at 140 lumens? Anyone have any good are bad opinions ,as I would like to try it out unless its just a waste of money.Thanks.

I bought one from another vendor and it was defective. Otherwise, with good luck, I hear they work well.

It's a decent drop-in(maybe 140 lumen at the emitter) but IMHO better to buy a new light for that price(a good DX light like the RC-N3).

The main problem for those drop-ins seems to be the lack of adequate heatsinking.
