Liteflux LF2XT or Nitecore EZAA?

I am looking for a great small EDC light. I really like these lights from what I have read, but I can only buy one. There is a length requirement: it has to be around 3.3'' or shorter. Anybody else deciding between these lights? Thanks.

I've had an EZAA pre-ordered forever now with the thought of canceling it for the LF2XT. At this point I figure I've got til tomorrow to cancel. Still not sure. I know I'll be getting the LiteFlux, and kind of think I'll never use the EZAA after that. On the other hand, an extra small two level AA sounds nice. Probably I'll end up being true to CPF tradition and buy both.

I'm going for the EZ-AA. Or should I say, I'm very, very impatiently waiting for the EZ-AA. Anyway, If you're still undecided at this point, I'd definitely suggest putting off the decision until the new batch of EZ-AAs hits reviewers.

I don't like the *brass gap* on the EZ

and too much turning involved to change levels

and would have been nicer if could have been OFF when fully tightened

LF2XT for me. LiteFlux has been solid, whereas NiteCore, at least in MY experience, has been hit and miss.

I am getting both.

If I could only have one it would be Liteflux all the way.

If you need high output and runtime then the EZAA wins but if they are not that important then the liteflux is infinitely more flexible and considerably smaller.

Will this be as a keychain light or a small edc pocket light?

Actually, it will be a wallet light. I am using a Tank007 light in that capacity right now, but I want something better. My pocket light is a Zebralight H501.

My impression, without actually going back through the threads to check, is that the length of the two lights will be very close. Width, of course, will give the LiteFlux the edge, but not by much. As far as AAA lights go, the LF2XT is on the big side, while the EZAA is smaller than most. I'm still a little concerned that the LiteFlux will seem almost too large compared to the L0D I normally carry in my pocket. Every effort will be made to get used to it.

For me the only reason I'd go for EZAA is the runtime advantage (well at least once it's fixed). Everything else seems to be in favor of LF2XT. Smaller size, included clip, advanced UI, higher output when using li-on, and no delay or hassle to get neutral tint emitter.

The Maglite Solitaire fits in my wallet just right. Hopefully, these lights are not longer than that.

Thanks for the link to the pictures. The LF2XT is definitely longer than the LD01. I know the LD01 fits in my wallet because I have tried it. I just have to wait and see.
