Just a heads up the AA tube is on it's way to Khoo the wait is over :twothumbs

It's also on its way to EliteLED.COM. Gary was disappointed that it wasn't in the last shipment like it was supposed to be. As soon as they are available, I will be getting one. I'll review it and let you all know what I think.

Are we still getting a clip for the 3XT, or is it only available for/with the AA tube? Be nice if it worked in either configuration. Not sure if I really want the AA tube, but with a good clip I could be swayed.

I know there is a clip with the AA tube. I am not so sure about the clip for the original light. LiteFlux was having problems figuring out how to have a user easily attach the clip to the original light. The one they originally designed was not user friendly enough.

This probably should have been left to professionals but I couldn't find any videos showing the LF3XT interface so I made one myself. It's my first youtube video, unscripted, and it was made with just a digital camera.
hehe, hopefully this will inspire someone to make a better video.

I thought it was a very good video describing the UIs of the LF3XT.

Got the clip for the 3XT. I'd say it's a worthy addition to the light. I'll certainly carry it more now. It was a little tricky to install, but just follow the instructions. My new switch seems more responsive. Might have wished for a snazzier looking solid clip, but this should do the job.

Agreed. I love the addition. I had a AA Energizer clip on mine since it was new and I like this one soo much better. I also like the softened edges on the new tailcap. Together, they just make the light feel so much better in the hand.

I had also done the switch mod as explained in post #135 in this thread by TMG, and my reply in post #137, and applied it to the new tailcap. The switch now feels perfect! With all these improvements, to an already incredible light, this is, my all-around, favorite flashlight. And I have many. :candle:
