looking for a led expert

Hello,
I wasn't sure where to post this...
I'm looking for someone to help us design a light for very specific project.
We need help selecting the right LED, batteries, reflector, etc.
We have all the CNC/Milling/etc. We just need someone on the electronic side.
NDA/NCA will need to be signed.
Prefer to deal with an established business instead of an individual, but we are open. (US only)
Arduino programing knowledge a plus. Understanding of video lighting a big plus.
If first project works out, there will be at least one more project after that.

Most video lights don't use reflectors, but optics. Aspheric optics in particular give an even wash of light with the optic's ability to change the intensity of light - focused for longer range, flood for nearer range.

There are some heavy hitters on CPF who will want to know more about you. Who are you? What is your company? I suppose much of that will be covered in PM. If I were doing this I would mention some of the product specs - estimated output (Lux and beam angle or lumens), target runtime, and target size. There are some very un-i-Friendly characteristics where high-power LED lights need large metal bodies to give bonus efficiency and allow longer electronic life. But then I share too much anyway.

My hint didn't work out. Post as much of these things as you can. Since you have such a specific project but have given no details, you aren't likely to find the best helpers without any more information.

1. Level of current project readiness.
2. Light output needs. What are some cameras, apertures, and framerates should be supported? This tells us the output needed.
3. Range goal. How much do optics need to adjust?
4. Planned cost of light unit.
5. Additional features. Varying CCT, adjustable CRI, framerate-friendly PWM or current-controlled controller?
6. Approximate light output and planned battery life.
7. Control/UI type - Mode switching, programmable, etc?
8. Level of programming experience required.


I'm curious, but not interested. If you can't reveal more than this about your project, your lawyer is yanking your chain.
