For a few year now, I own a nice 4 AA cell UK light. Mine uses a xenon assembly and I would like to mod it to LED.

My questions are:
Is there a LED module that just drops in?
If yes, is it regulated? Where do I find this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The UKeLED 4AA light uses a lamp assambly that should drop right in to your light.

there's the module on the bottom. I bought one a year ago from a fire safety supply place online. I can't seem to find them now. Just do a search for replacement UKeLED lamp assemblies. Good luck. I like mine, it runs for days and is quite bright.

I think Surefire 6p 9p G2 G3 modules should fit also with maybe some minor modifications. (not 100% on this)

I bought a used UK 4AA eLED light so I could use the module in a Cyclops 2x123 light from Sam's Club. It's probably my very favorite sub 20 Lumen LED light. Nice wide beam, only slightly artifacty... great for indoors use and quite usable outdoors as well if there isn't much ambient light.

The module does look pretty similar to the Surefire/G&P modules but the G&Ps are a bit wider in the reflector area. I'd imagine you could turn the diameter down a bit with either a dremel or some other more specific tool. I think in the thread on the Cyclops, someone mentioned that they did modify a G&P module and that should work for the UK as well as the modules are definately interchangable between the UK and the Cyclops.

This is probably what you want:

Should drop right into your light.

Rock solid, flat regulation for well over 10 hours.

Actually, it's probably more like 25 hours of regulated output with a diminishing tail of output thereafter.

Excellent close to medium range utility light with small hotspot and very wide, fairly bright spillbeam.

Just forgot to check on my favorite review site.

Thanks.
