I'm wanting someone to convert a titanium Jetbeam TC-R3 into a true "Pocket Rocket".
I already own a variety of lights that are basically in the same output range as the stock TC-R3 so if I pull the trigger on one of these I want its output to mach its looks.
I'm aware that titanium isn't the best material in regards to the heat issue, but I'm willing to work around this.

My wish list is as follows....

I'd like to have 700+ lumens.
Nice balance of throw and flood.
Snow white tint.
Run on a 18650.
Maintain the low, med, high, options.

Can this be done or am I living in a fantasy world?

Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Trey

The only problem I see is that the light has adjustable output via a bezel ring. That would make it hard to drive most leds to the 700 lumen mark you are trying to hit. The led that is in it now is only seeing a very small amount of current compared to what a P7, MC-E, or SST50 would take to make 700 lumen. There really isnt an electronic that would go into the light to drive the led to that output. You could maybe bypas that ring, and have another driver that adjusts via tail cap, but that kinda takes away from the reason you got the light more than likely.

Maybe a download light, his SST-50 is a screamer! He makes it in Ti...
