Im looking for a new light, but i can't decide. My Flashlight budged is a little limited, so i'm looking at something lower than 70 Shipped.
my choices are between Jetbeam E3S or a Quark mini aa Titanium.

Jetbeam E3S:
Likes: Coolness (it's really a beautiful light), Durability
Dislikes: No Li-Ion batteries, A little on the heavy side

Quark Mini AA Titanium:
Likes: Li-ion batteries, Titanium Finish, Lighter
Dislikes: Not as beautiful as the E3S, and, I heard that titanium can get easily scratched.

I'm looking for another 'Cool' light, maybe for edc. i also had in mind a preon TI, witch is smaller, but also afraid it could get scratched.
Can somebody help me decide?

Well, if you're worried about your light getting scratched, disregard all titanium lights... They scratch very easily.

The Jetbeams are nice. I would personally want one over a Quark, but, like you say, they are a little on the heavy side.

Have you checked out any of the Fenix line up?

If you are really worried about being scratched, Id recommend an itp A1 EOS SS. I have one as a keychain light for the last 6 months and it looks nice. I use an RCR123 for solid brightness and easy recharge. Twisty so it won't come on accidently. 3,30,200+ lumen modes.

They are one of the very few stainless steel lights in existence as far as I know. Good build quality. I love mine.

thanks for the suggestion, but i want an alkaline powered light. i think i decided with the jetbeam.

i like cr123 lights, and i have a few. the thing is, i live in a country where cr123 are not common, and expensive. also, we have a lot of blackouts, and in an emergency (hurricane, or anything like it) using alkalines is a must.
