i wanna take advantage of battery junctions sale and am up in the air between the tenergy 10000mah and the titanium 12000. they're both about 6-7 bucks. but has anyone tried the accuevolution 10000 for $10 each?

What's your intended application?

I've had a set of the Titaniums for a number of years. I've never pushed them particularly hard, but I've had no problems with them at all.

I love the AccuEvolutions, and have been using them in my go-to, front closed light for the past year. They've maintained their charge as advertised. For what it's worth, a test of the AccuEvolution and Tenergy C cells in the same high drain light showed the AccuEvolutions were able to provide more current initially, but they also sagged a little quicker. Reasonable trade-off for LSD, as far as I'm concerned.

where can i find a test of them? has anyone done a comparision? dont lsd cells usually last longer as they are build more robust?

most of the lights i would put my next batch of batteries in are ridiculously high drain. anyone have ideas of what would work best?

I haven't come across any recent, high-drain tests of NiMH D cells here lately. I use NiMH D cells in a couple of my regular use lights, but they only drawing 3A max, and the AccuEvolutions have been fine for me.

Lambda is currently building direct-drive SSR-90 lights that run on 4x NiMH cells. Most of them have been built for C cells, but he's built some for D's as well. I think I remember reading that he was seeing upwards of 12-13A from the four cells in his tests, but the draw isn't constant (he uses PWM to keep the overall current within spec for the SSR-90). He's been recommending Tenergy cells, and says those are the only NiMH C cells he's found that are spec'ed for as high a draw as he's seeing. I haven't been able to find max continuous discharge rate spec's for any C or D NiMH cells (I've found a few spec sheets for the Tenergy's but they haven't been consistent), so I can't offer much more than that.
