Newly Enlightened
Hi,
I have a Golf Trainer that has 4 AA batteries bundled together in the unit. I am sure they are Nickel Cadium batteries but I am unsure of the Mah capacity. The charger you plug into the unit says it gives off 45ma of a charge(Which is almost like a trickle charge). The manual says from a empty battery to a full battery it takes 16 hours.
There is no battery guage and I was woundering could I leave them charging at that rate for 24hours and not harm the batteries? I know long term it would harm them but I think it might be ok since the low charge rate(45ma) and the short period of time they would be on the charger.
Thank you.
Dan
