Lower Michigan Get Together JUNE 19-21!!
Is anyone interested in a Get together in Lower Michigan area (15 miles north of Ann Arbor Area) this coming Spring/Summer?-May or June?
I just moved into a new house and can probably host it.
Kensington Metro Park and Island Lake Recreation Area is a 5-10 minute ride from my location and would be a great place to try out our lights. Kensington closes at 10pm, but Island Lake has cabins available for overnight stays.
There are Cabins available that sleep 20 people available for only $80.00!...split between a bunch of people, it will be cheap, even if you don't want to stay.
There is a park-n-ride close to my house (I96 & 23 interchange) where we could meet up and either go to my house before hand for a BBQ or go to the park and do it there. I would like to put a face with some of these names and I feel the CPF community would have a good time getting to meet one another and see lights that we may otherwise not be able to check out in person. Also if there is any other gear that might be of interest, please feel free to bring it up....Multi-tools, Knives, Gear, the usual stuff the flashaholics seem to have in common.
RAFFLE: I think a raffle would be a lot of fun as well (see post #10)
If anyone has anything to donate, please feel free.
It doesn't have to be anything big or costly, just something flashlight related.

Shirts: There are Shirts in the works for this to, thanks to Solscud007.
So far the Old Surefire Logo and CPF 2009 Michigan Get-Together will be printed. Cost for the shirts are $12.00-15.00...so far. Anyone interested in a shirt, please post in the thread what size you need. Suggestion welcome.
I have a decent selection of lights to bring along...Including the Surefire HELLFIGHTER..:devil:
