LRI Proton - any update after the SHOT show ?

Has the Proton been scrapped ..... or is it about to be relaunched with a Cree (and better QC!) ??

Why would they scrap something that has such a demand that its backed ordered for months. I've had one for 6 months and use it every day. During that same time I have half a dozen other lights I've used once or twice.

Maybe I should hold back on buying a Fenix/Jet/Rex ??

Anybody know why LRI have shutdown the forum on their website ?
