OK. I'll start off to say I'm not knocking their products. I have an EO-4 and an EO-9 and I'm very happy with both. I'm also considering a mini turbo head and IMR-9L assembly so I like Lumens Factory! But their products don't seem to be as bright as I'd expect from reading on here. I understand with the EO-4 there's only so much you can do with 1xLi-Ion and be efficient with something that relies on voltage like incans. But the 9V assemblies seem underpowered. The EO-9 which is "Extreme" output only makes 380 bulb lumens and draws just 2A. Now this isn't an incan vs. LED thing as It's not the output vs input I'm wondering about. Only 2A for the extreme output and 380 lumens? Their assembly for the Ultrafire WF500 also nuns on 2x18650 or 2x18500 and it's 630 lumens with just an HO designation. Why can't they do that with the D26 dropin. To get that level of output you need to use a D36 9V IMR dropin. To me the EO-9 should be 5-600 lumens as that seems to be ok on the WF and the IMR to be 1000. Maybe it's because they can't guarantee people will use 18650 or at least 18500s on the EO-9 as the hosts can also use 2x16340s which is still over 2C. So it's a safety thing for the masses? Once again not attacking LF as they make a great reasonably priced product and it's very nice to see a company still supporting us incan lovers just trying to figure out the strategy of why their products don't put out what is easily possible. Just look at the 1794!
