Forgive my simple questions, but using rechargeables in a flashlight is something new to me. My primary duty light, and weapon light when necessary, is a Gladius (off being SSC-p4 modded), but my backup is a S/F Z2. Since I can adjust the output on my Glad for runtime if necessary, I'm looking to make the Z2 as overpoweringly bright as I can.
My desire now is to put a Lumensfactory EO-9 (http://lumensfactory.com/product_detail.php?id=1) lamp assembly into a Z2, but are there any batteries that fit into a Z2 that run 9v lamps?
If the above option isn't possible, I'd like to put a EO-6 (http://lumensfactory.com/product_detail.php?id=39) in the Z2. The question then is what battery to use?
Batteries that don't need to be coddled would be nice. One of the nicest things about my S/F 9AN is that I can run the batteries all of the way down if necessary, then turn around and leave them on the charger until I need them.
Y'all are making my flashlight addiction worse; this is going to be tough on a cop's budget
