Lumintop a good choice?

Hey all!

I know I'm late to the party here, but I just found out about lumintop. I needed a UV light for work, and am happy with it for the hour I've owned it so far.

I've been in the market for a new edc light with a reasonable cost, and I WAS looking at Streamlight. Then I saw this Lumintop UV also comes in a normal LED, and they seem to be able to take lithium primary batteries!

Does Lumintop make durable lights? How is their customer service? How do they compare to Streamlight?

I've had good experience all 'round with Lumintop lights. With specific reference to the company's AA lights, I have two Tool 2.0 lights in neutral white, one Tool 2.0 in cool white, and one Tool 3.0 in cool white. The Tool line accepts both 1.5v and 3.7v cells. All models work flawlessly, without any operating hiccups or failures.

Perhaps of greater interest is the Lumintop PK25, a 2xAA high-lux thrower (although the length of the PK25 precludes me from calling it a pocket light).

Bottom line: Excellent value for the money.

I have both the Tool AA 2.0 as well as the Tool AAA for going on 2 years and have found that they operate just as they are supposed to. I carry the AAA light all day/everyday and use it several times a day. What I like is that both have the ability to work by Tail clicky as well as a twisty. I have had a less than stellar experience with tail switches so having an alternative way to operate said lights is illuminating. Not to mention they are less "expensive" to the other AA/AAA lights in my drawer.

Edit: However the pocket clips are a bit anemic but I don't use the pocket clips to clip to my pocket anyway.

I have several Lumintop's flashlights including Tool AA UV. I haven't been disappointed with them. I don't know about the customer service, because I haven't had any trouble with the products. If you need more powerful UV light than Tool AA UV, Convoy would be a good choice.
