Hi guys,
At times I questioned if this wave would ever hit the beach. There were problems with the electronics and but for the grace and kind support from Wayne Yamaguchi who provides the magic to these lights, they never would have condensed from vapor to reality.
Anyway, I have now assembled about 80 of the LunaSol 27 titanium lights and they are available on first come first serve basis; as determined by e-mail orders I receive which are clear, concise and include the must have information:
In the subject line of the E-mail please state: LunaSol 27
Your CPF name (if you have one)
Your real name and mailing address
phone number if international shipment
Any exceptions to standard shipping, which is priority mail.
If the shipment is domestic and you want insurance, please so state.
For my general info on how I process these offerings, please refer to THIS THREAD.
The LunaSol 27:
For more info on the light, please see THIS THREAD (at least the first post in it.:nana
The light goes for $515 plus shipping
The LunaSol 27 offered here is a titanium light designed for use with a primary CR123 lithium battery or a rechargeable Li-Ion cell of your choice and with you assuming all risks entailed; the light can handle the voltage range of a Li-Ion cell with no issues.
The ring of Nichias are driven in series at ~ 18 mA
The Cree XR-E is driven at ~425 mA
There is a H3 vial in the piston
Window is sapphire
I have kept this post short but hopefully mentioned the important stuff.
If you have any questions, please ask them here that others may too benefit. I will be hanging around for a little while but then off to the beach for a swim.
I will be processing these orders over the weekend and first shipments will go out on Monday. I have an additional number of sets of these lights which total near 150 and depending on how much time I spend with my shipping hat on, I will likely build more out and add them to this wave.
Instead of a bunch of disclaimers, let me simply state that I am not even close to perfection and as a result neither are my designs or builds. If you seek perfection, don't waste your time or money here. These lights should work and give you good utility and behind that I will stand; to the best of my ability.
