M*gLED modules in C cell lights - any good?

I've seen a lot of runtime data for the M*gLED modules running on D cells, but does anyone know what kind of runtime and regulation to expect on C cells? Obviously the big output drop in the first 15 min is going to stay the same, but I'm curious how well they hold up AFTER that. Thanks.

Don't have any hard numbers for you, regarding runtime or brightness. But I use a 2-C cell Mag w/ MagLED in it as my work light. I patrol darkened floors. My patrols usually take a full hour each shift, 5 shifts a week. I haven't replaced the batteries in months. The last time I did, the light had been going strong for several months. (I just don't like using old batteries in my lights).

For a full-size flashlight, it's quite bright. That initial drop off is the only thing that happens to brightness.

C cells have about half the capacity as D's, so... I always assumed the MagLED would run for about half the time as on D's? I've a 4C with a MagLED I upgraded to SSC LED and I expect up to 20 hours... half the 48 hours a 4D gets.

I keep a 3C w/ MagLED in my truck. Always seems to work and I can't remember the last time I changed the batteries. Now might be a good time ;).

I just upgraded the 3D mag in my truck. I got a Mag LED module from Lighthound and changed the batteries. I've had this sucker maybe 20 years?! This suckers is huge compared to my 9P...
