I can try a test soon, hopefully this weekend. It is kind of a back up light I bring with me sometimes. I haven't really tested it too much.

I let the M31 go an a Harbor Freight Thunderbolt 2200mAh AA for an hour and 11 minutes. Battery started at 1.31V and ended at 1.16V. This is a daytime picture at the end of test on a burnt orange painted wall. Still very usable light IMO. Light body was barely warm. I have to get going, so I stopped the test.

Amazing. Thanks. Anything over 40 minutes is acceptable to me!

I have a 3p setup. I was always told that even a 3.0v rcr would have a higher voltage coming off the charger and potentially damage the drop in. Have you used this combo without issue ?
The KeepPower RCR123's have a built in charging circuit and are supplied with a 2 into 1 charging cable, when charged they showed 3.04V.

Awesome thanks. I just ordered a set from illumn. 2 for $10 ain't bad.

I'll use this Lego with the m31w; Z44 head with a copper bezel ring, aliexpress 3p body, md tail cap and a thyrm lpc
