I know it is listed as being for the M2. Does the M2 have a different threading than the M3 bezel?

The M2 does not feature the "Millennium Series threads" that the M3/M3T/M4/M6 do. The M2 has standard threads and can use the KL3 and KL5(A) bezels. SureFire is working on a new bezel for the M3 - currently called the KL9 with a proposed output in the order of 350+ lumens.
