MagLED 4D

Is the new 4D MagLED http://www.maglite.com/D_Cell_LED.asp brighter than the 2D or 3D versions or is it like the old MagLED upgrades where they were all the same brightness?

I don't think a second generation 4D LED version has even been spotted in the wild.
