Maglite Bulb Retainer Size?

Does anyone know the thread size of the standard C & D Maglite bulb retainer?

I have a few Mags and some calipers at home (I'll be home in about five hours), but I don't know exactly what "thread size" is. Is it the space between threads, the number of turns per unit of length, or what?

Just let me know what to measure, and I'll measure it.

I'm guessing it's M13 1.25 or 3/8 24 or something like that. And yes I'm looking to make some custom retaining rings for a project I'm working on. Any help/insight greatly appreciated.

Or does anyone know of a piece of plumbing hardware, ect that would screw onto the bulb post?

top diameter [where the lamp glass goes through] 1.2 cm
