Maglite Charger mod to LED???

Hello!
I own old Maglite Charger. Can you help me and provide any information about custom mod to LED. What do you suggest, are there any done mods of Maglite Charger. I would also upgrade the battery with custom packs (any suggestions which accu should i use)?

Personally, I dont know about that, but there is the TerraLux devices like the new TLE-300MR Extreme for the MC. Its rated 700l and 3 modes.
